Sammy's friends, Emily and Solee came dressed as Winnie the Pooh and Eyore. It was a nice day for Halloween.
Cousin Sadie came over with her roommates from Utah State. Matt came with a date (she was from Newton-- other side of town). Laura Lee went back to campus with her cousins to experience a little college apartment life. She was home by 10, so it wasn't too realistic. Her cousins are very studious, and they don't stay up too late. Good examples!
Kate, Isla, and Cora came over to have some donuts and cider as well.
Skip ahead a few weeks and now it is the end of November! We had a great time with Jared and Abby's clan. The boys played outside almost the whole time, the weather was so nice.
Then when it was time for bed, they stayed up and played until 11:30. They were very tired the next day.
We stopped over to Missy and Lyndon's home to say hello. The kids were all super tired from partying the day before.
Saturday, Sammy and I went to the Nutcracker. We haven't been for a few years so it was fun. We also went shoe shopping because the poor girl is squeezing into my shoes (7.5 size) and she wears about a size 9 now. We scored and found some cute flats on clearance that fit perfectly-- 70% off original price! We got them for $8-- cha-ching!! That is Sammy's kind of date! We then went to Kneaders and had a bowl of soup, and we got a whole box of their yummy orange rolls for FREE!!! I'm taking Sammy with me more often when I make purchases!
Now that Thanksgiving is over, everyone wants to drag out the Christmas decor (except for me). Here we have the stockings hung by the chimney with care, and two elves on the shelf.
We ran over to our neighbor's house really quick and took a look at their new puppies. She is selling them-- golden retriever/poodle mixes (golden doodles). They will go for a pretty price and she is saving the money for her kids' college tuition. She will need it-- her kids aren't academically or athletically inclined, but they are cute. Too bad that doesn't get scholarships.
Woop! Spencer looks half asleep here.

Love the pictures. I miss seeing you. I can't believe how much older the kids all look to me. The puppies look black not golden. but they sure are cute.
love you all a ton. Remember when the girls were really little and we took them to the Nutcracker in SLC? Good memories.
love you
MOM
